The Story of 4 Peaks

Throughout our teaching careers, we spent time in nature with students and watched how it transformed them. Spending time in nature can both calm and excite, it can teach you about yourself and your environment, and it can ground you and inspire your dreams. Four Peaks Into Nature is our dream realized. Three years ago we started with the purchase of 20 acres and a tent. After two months in that tent we were able to stay in the cabin that we built, and started to focus our efforts on developing the educational trail. We hope to introduce students back into nature through educational hikes, learning activities and teamwork challenges. 4 Peaks Into Nature provides a natural setting with a hiking path that incorporates the existing habitats of several species. We offer cabin rental, artwork sales and will soon offer retreats of differing themes to help fund transportation costs for students to attend these educational hikes. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Meet Jerry the Moose

Jerry is the mascot for 4 Peaks Nature Center. A beautiful creature that teaches us to take our time and enjoy the bounty that the earth provides.

A huge thank you to the trailblazing team that volunteered to help clear the initial trail. We tried to keep the trail as natural as possible and still offer various terrains and points of interest. This group helped us to successfully create a truly unique trail.
